every time i cut the bottom off of a bunch of celery, i admire the cabbage-rose-like shape left behind, and think, "this would make such a nice stamp."
yesterday Asa and his friend Joni were doing Asa's rubber stamps and i had celery in the fridge.
here's the celery print:
i had to dry it off quite a bit and do a few tries before the image wasn't too watery. I used kids' ink stamp pads and just made sure the celery was saturated with ink.
last night i was cutting up some baby bok choy and noticed it too would make a great stamp
i love the images. (card sets for holiday gifts? hmmmm....)
