a poncho for Maxine- perfect for twirling
details for you sewers: made with fabric from my stash, no pattern (i always do that and nothing ever comes out exactly right- i may have to modify it a bit. when the hood is down, it pulls the neck back too far and chokes the poor kid). reversible: pink wool plaid (thanks Meredith!) and cotton animal (giraffe? leopard?) print flannel with a layer of polar fleece sandwiched between. green satin binding.
